      <title>Unsuccessful Factory Reset on Zone Director 1200</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;After I turned off and on the power, the status light stays solid green on Zone Director 1200. I could not do&amp;nbsp;F/D reset! I repeated the process multiple times. It doesn't work each time! Can anyone help?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello A12998,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;steps to perform a hard reset:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- On the rear side of the AP you can see the "HARD RESET" hole which is&amp;nbsp;located near the Ethernet ports.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Insert a paper clip or any point object into the “HARD RESET” hole and&amp;nbsp;press &amp;amp; hold it for 15-20 seconds.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;- This factory defaults the AP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Now the AP can be accessed using it's default ip address 192.168.0.1 by&amp;nbsp;directly connecting to a PC in the same subnet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Pranav Anand | Senior Technical Support Engineer&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;DId you read the posted issue and think "I have useful info to contribute"?&lt;BR /&gt;Or have you been forced to answer &lt;EM&gt;x&lt;/EM&gt; forum posts per week, so you just used ChatGPT to generate some filler content?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;This question was regarding a ZoneDirector 1200, not an AP, so after a factory reset the IP address will be &lt;FONT face="courier new,courier"&gt;192.168.0.&lt;STRONG&gt;2&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;You can see, from your &lt;A href="https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000010062" target="_self"&gt;ZD article&lt;/A&gt; and your &lt;A href="https://support.ruckuswireless.com/articles/000012418" target="_self"&gt;AP article&lt;/A&gt;, that no devices have a hole labeled "HARD RESET". All ZoneDirectors have the factory reset button on their front panel. It's labeled "F/D" on the ZD1200.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When the ZD1200's ethernet interfaces show no signs of life, and both LEDs remain solid green at all times, then the ZD1200 is dead. I'm certain you have &lt;EM&gt;plenty&lt;/EM&gt; of information internally on this, since it happens reliably to every old ZD1200 after running long enough.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;</description>
