ZD1100 firmware upgrade path from 9.6.1.0

Hi, I have a ZD1100 and I would like to upgrade the firmware to the latest version. The current version is 9.6.1.0 build 15. I managed to login to the ZD using firefox 45. Could someone please tell me which is the latest version and the upgrade path to go to that version?

Hi Loannis,

ZD1100 is EOL product and recommended version is 9.10.2.0.73.
However, 9.6.1 is not in upgrade path of it, so you need to upgrade to 9.8.1.0.101 and then you can upgrade to 9.10.2.0.73.

9.12 and later versions do not support ZD1100.

Hi Masaaki,
Thank you for your reply and the information you provided. Yes my company is aware that the ZD1100 is EOL, we are planning to replace it probably next year. 🙂
Does the upgrade to 9.8.1.0.101 and then to 9.10.2.0.73 require downtime or anything else I should do before or during this process?
And last question does the latest version support the zf7363 and zf7372 APs?

Hi Loannis,
Downtime will depends on AP numbers and I am sorry that I do not remember how long you need to upgrade.
You should do configuration back up before upgrading to 9.8 and 9.10.

9.10.2.0.73 support ZF7363 and ZF7372.

make sure your acesspoints are still supported by the upgraded ZD
