ZD1200 problem with PDA devices

Hi everyone,

When I updated ZD1200 to version 10.0.0.190 i constantly have problem with PDA devices (datalogic scorpio X3 on WinCE)

PDA connect to newtwork and works fine, after PDA goes to sleep it wont connect anymore.

Can someone have any idea how to solve this?

Hi Goran,

What are the WLAN settings? Like wlan type, auth type, encryption type.

Try to enable proxy ARP and see if that helps.

Wlan type standard

Method open

802.11r FT roaming enabled

Encryption method is WPA2

Algorithm Auto (TKIP+AES)

Now i turned on proxy arp and we will see if that change anything.

Proxy ARP didnt solve the problem.

@goran_stamenkovic Check if these devices has any recommended WLAN settings.

If everything is looking good, we have to take OTA (over the air) packet captures while reproducing the issue. Captures will tell us who is in fault and what can be done.

Check if changing default DTIM value helps or if device has a standard DTIM value recommendations.

strange thing happend, devices has lost 3-4 packets and app is still working.

In the capture I dont see any other traffic than ARP.

What I requested was OTA captures where we can see what traffic exchange is happening between AP-client while you reproduce the issue.

Note: You have to select wifi1 for 5G radio captures and wifi0 for 2.4G radio captures, in wireshark.

@syamantak_omer now i see what is happening.

PDA worked for few hours, i pinged the device and it works.

When softver on PDA stopped working, i tried to ping PDA and it didnt work.

Then we turned wifi off on PDA and on again, ping began to work again.

I see one way block acks from client with no response from AP side.

Please open a support case so that further troubleshooting can be done.

Apperantly we dont have active ruckus support, so i cant open the case.

In admin console it says support status is active.
