VPN between ZD and third party Wifi Gateway

Hello all,

In order to connect the ZD 1100 to a 3PP Wifi Gateway, I understood that VPN can be established.
But I cannot find any short of documentation to clarify this feature.
For example, is L2VPN supported? Some call flows? Available protocols to tunnel the traffic, etc.

We only natively support a VPN to FlexMaster. You would otherwise have to use a separate VPN gateway and tunnel the connection. What type of gateway are you trying to connect to?

So the FlexMaster server takes care to setup the VPN connection, or can there be something configured on the ZD side?
We want to connect it to a gateway that supports either EoIP or GREoIP or L2VPN as options.

I think for your purposes, you'll have to ensure there's an L3 path between the ZD and the upstream controller. In other words a VPN tunnel using other devices. The ZD by itself cannot form an L2VPN with 3rd party equipment.
