topic 9.8 / R700 Application Recognition? in ZoneDirector

What configuration has to be done to enable application recognition on 9.8 / R700? I look in the Application Recognition and Filtering section under Access Control in Configure and it appears blank. To have to fill in standard things like 80:http 443:https myself to get it to work?

You have to enable Application Visibility in the Configure > WLANs > Advanced Options, for each WLAN that you want to be able to view applications.

It's disabled by default.

Hope it helps.

There are some limitations to the R700, as noted in the 9.8 Release Notes, but I don't think Application Recognition is one of them.

Thanks, I have turned it on and just waiting to see some traffic.

Edit:Just an update it seems to be working. I only have 3-4 people active right now so it is light traffic.
