The difficulty is that there's differences between distros and various components of each distro. Another issue is that many Linux users won't want something that's going to create connection profiles on their computer as many are very security focused.

But for those that do want it, if Ruckus aren't going to provide Linux support, would they be willing to provide assistance for the Linux community to implement it themselves?

Depending on what's being used to handle network profiles, it could be quite simple:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/NetworkManager#nmcli

Is Ubuntu supported with zero-it provisioning? I found documents that mention Windows, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Mac, but didn't see any mention of Linux.

Hello Lonnie,

Yes, at this time Zero it is available only on the OS - Windows, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Mac.

Not sure if they plan to include linux or not.

If you have lots of users on linux then you push a feature request via your regional Ruckus system engineer to consider.

I am sure that this is not the first time zero-it with linux is being requested.

Hope this helps.
