Just inherited an existing ZD1100 need to reset - ramifications?

Just inherited this system unk amount of AP's unk PW cannot reach GUI cannot SSH thinking of system reset. Will it find all AP's again? I can redo all if I can just discover all of them.

If you Factory reset the controller and re-configure it with the same IP the AP should find it's way back. The AP will always try to connect to the last know ZD ip first.

Cool so this will achieve my objective getting me control of it, is there a timeout for these AP's to to look for the ZD? Thanks!

I forget the exact time, but it's only a few minutes at the most, of the ZD being back on it's original IP. The AP should be sending and receiving hartbeat and if it's missed the AP will eventually panic and reboot of the zd does not respond, and that will definitely force a reconnect.
