      <title>How to know backup firmware version</title>

      <description>We had a failure of our zd1100.&lt;BR /&gt;we got a new one and tried to install backup, but error that this backup is not for this firmware.&lt;BR /&gt;Already tried 2 different firmwares and still the same error.&lt;BR /&gt;Is there a way to figure out what firmware the backup file will work with?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rgds</description>

      <description>Hi Benny,&lt;BR /&gt;From what i remember the backup config includes also the version of the firmware.&lt;BR /&gt;Did you install that version on the ZD1100 ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;Martin</description>

      <description>Sorry, I just checked on my 1100 and it doesn't show the version in the filename.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you don't know the software version that was running on the 1100, best is to open a case via the support portal, as we can see the version by looking at the file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards&lt;BR /&gt;Martin</description>

      <description>Yes, Ruckus Tech Support can read a .bak ZD backup file, which includes version info, so you can match the same (previous?) version and restore your configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;You may wind up needing to upgrade again, but will not need to redefine all your WLANs, AP groups, etc.</description>
