topic Application Recognition affect AP performance? in ZoneDirector

Does anyone have any info or data on if enabling Application Recognition on our ZD1300 will affect AP performance (ie client wifi throughput at the AP level only).

Clearly the APs will be under a bit more cpu load gathering this data, so im curious if any have any experience or input. We do *not* use tunneling nor use our ZDs as "nat" routers (our ZDs are simply "configuration pushers")

I realize the amount of Application Recognition data sent back from each AP to the ZD (every 5min according to docs) is minimal, but we have some large installs and have never enabled Application Recognition (our specific ruk AP models do support it).

While it would be nice to see this additional data, i dont want to sacrifice end user wifi performance, for it.

thanks
