Security on 5GHz network

Hi,

I got a ZoneFlex 7982 from my work and I'm kind of new at this. I connected the 7982 to my router and configured two SSID (2.4 & 5GHz), on the 2.4GHz network I didn't set any encryption method and yet that SSID it's using my router's WAP2 password but if I set the 5GHz with no encryption it doesn't do the same. What I can I do so the AP recognizes both networks as one.

Ps. If I search for networks the 2.4GHz it's showing router and AP as one but 5GHz are two different networks.

For example, at the past 2018 Winter Olympics, South Korea displayed 5G service for the visitors in collaboration with Samsung and Intel.

Hi Victor,

I believe your client is seeing the 7982 WLANs, *and* the same SSID from your Wi-Fi router.
A WPA2 passphrase is recommended as the least security (to keep neighbors off your WiFi).
I suggest to set the same WPA2 passphrase on your 7982 WLANs as is on your Wi-Fi router.
