Hi I have a zf7962 that I am using in standalone mode.

when I first got the AP its was running FW 8.1.1 and was able to transfer 15-17mbps through it to two different servers connected at 5ghz.

please note I am the only 5ghz network I can see.

After updating the firmware from 9.0 up (9.0.1, 9.2.0, 9.2.1, 9.8.0) i am only able to get 3.5mb and it jumps up and down it doesn't matter how far away from the AP I am as currently im getting -27db signal strength.

I have also factory reset the device and tried 20 and 40mhz bands.

I only updated to get band steering for devices.

does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi Blake,

How you are testing the speed(Back to Back wireless clients or wired to Wireless )? Any config change ? Could you test the speed without encryption and see how much you get ?

Thanks
