Hi Sofia!

Is the managing VLAN can be done at WLAN priority tab in the advanced options at Access VLAN field? Currently, all my WLANs have the same number in this field - "1". If I configure VLAN 10 on my upstream network and assign it in the WLAN Priority tab for the specific WLAN all traffic related to VLAN 10 could be routed to the second ISP? Thank you for your help!

WLAN Priority tab

Access VLAN: 1

Dear Sir or Madam!

Currently, we have Unleashed network with two different WLANs. Could we configure the traffic separation for each WLAN go to different ISP providers gateways? We need to have some set of the wireless devices work using the one ISP and other wireless devices use the second ISP. Thank you for your recommendations and help!

Hello @dmytro_savin
Yes, it is possible to have two WLANs on a Ruckus Unleashed network use different gateways, but the separation is done via VLANs and your upstream network, not directly on the Unleashed controller.

Here’s how to achieve it:

Assign VLANs to each WLAN
Go to WLANs → Edit WLAN → VLAN in Unleashed.

For example:

WLAN “Staff” → VLAN 10

WLAN “Guest” → VLAN 20

Notes:

Unleashed does not manage routing or ISP selection per WLAN; it only tags traffic with VLAN IDs.

Devices on the same VLAN will always use the same gateway.
For ISP failover, you’ll need to configure this on your firewall/router.

Hi Dmytro_Savin,

The Access VLAN field in the advanced WLAN options is where you can specify which VLAN to tag traffic coming from that WLAN. As it stands, since all your WLANs are set to Access VLAN = 1, all wireless clients are assigned to VLAN 1. This is the reason they all share the same gateway and ISP.

Thank you,
Mayank
