I've created a new WLAN and enabled Zero-IT and DPSK following this guide.

https://docs.ruckuswireless.com/unleashed/200.3/t-EnableDPSKforWLAN.html

Name: whatever
Usage Type: Standard
Auth Method: Open
Encryption: WPA2
Password: password
Accounting Server: Disabled

However, when I connect to the WLAN, it allows me to connect using the password. Basically, it's skipped the requirement for DPSK altogether. Am I missing something?

The default WPA2-PSK will always work and should only be used by "admins".
