topic R500 PoE versus adapter in Unleashed

Does anyone know if an r500 unleached connected a PoE switch has the same power/signal strenght as an r500 connected to an adapter? My r500 has about the same signal strengt and capacity as my Aiport Extreme which is laying on the floor. The EA has built in power and the r500 is on a small PoE switch. Any ideas?

Yes, by default the R500 will be configured to use Full tx_power, whether running Unleashed, Solo AP image, or being managed by a ZD or SZ controller,<BR />equally by PoE switch or separate power injector.

Thank you Michael. I’d hoped it would be a little bit stronger then Apple Airport Extreme but it isn’t. I need a second one for my second floor. But thanks again!
