I'm connected to the switch, but no Port shows up. I've downloaded the drivers suggested, and it is still not fixing the issue.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&lt;P&gt;It sounds like you’re really close, but this issue usually happens when the connection isn’t being detected at the COM/USB level rather than the switch itself.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A few things you can check:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Verify the COM Port in Device Manager&lt;/STRONG&gt; – Even after installing the recommended drivers, Windows may assign a different COM port. Open Device Manager → Ports (COM &amp;amp; LPT) and confirm if the USB-to-serial adapter is actually showing up. If it’s missing or has a warning symbol, the driver didn’t install correctly.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Try a Different USB Cable/Port&lt;/STRONG&gt; – Many USB-C or USB-A cables only support charging, not data. Switching the cable often fixes this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reinstall the Driver Completely&lt;/STRONG&gt; – Uninstall the existing driver, restart your system, and then reinstall the driver from the vendor, not the Windows auto-installer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check Your Terminal Settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; – Make sure your terminal software (PuTTY, Tera Term, etc.) is pointed to the correct COM port and using the right baud rate mentioned in the guide.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Test With Another PC&lt;/STRONG&gt; – If possible, try the same setup on a different computer. This helps confirm whether the issue is with your PC or the adapter.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you’ve done all this and the port still doesn’t appear, the USB-serial adapter itself may be faulty. Replacing it usually resolves the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hope this helps!       <description>&lt;P&gt;It sounds like a driver or COM-port recognition issue. Even if the drivers were installed, Windows sometimes doesn’t map the USB-to-serial adapter to an active COM port automatically.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A few things to try:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Check Device Manager&lt;/STRONG&gt; → under &lt;EM&gt;Ports (COM &amp;amp; LPT)&lt;/EM&gt;.&lt;BR /&gt;See if the adapter is listed and note the COM port number. If it shows a warning icon, reinstall the driver.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Try a different USB port or cable.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Some USB-C/USB-A adapters don’t handle serial signals well, so switching cables often fixes the issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Verify the Baud rate and settings&lt;/STRONG&gt; in your terminal program (115200 / 8 / N / 1 is typical for the switch).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Restart after reinstalling the driver.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sometimes the COM port won’t appear until a full reboot.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;If none of these work, try using a different USB-to-serial adapter.
