I bought 4 of the above PN's as they showed 8G to use in icx-7250 and connect with an older RAID controller that uses 8G.

only option in webview on the switch is 1g or 10g. Anything I can do in the CLI to match 8G?

Hi!

Thank you for posting, according to my records 57-1000012-01 is for 1G SFP. Could you please share:

#show media e x/x/x

According to the optics guide the SFP is supported: https://www.commscope.com/globalassets/digizuite/61722-ds-ethernet-optics-family.pdf

Based on the guide 8G SFPs don't exist, as these are not mentioned.

Thanks!

This is likely from an old 8Gb SAN brocade switch. That will not work in any of our Ruckus (ICX) switches.

Alright. Thank you for the information.

So outside of a SAN network setup, 8G isnt used?

That is correct as far as I know, but I am not a SAN expert.
