Port on ICX7550 with sophos 2100 as Down

Hello Everyone,

We have an ICX7550 and one of its interface to connect with Sophs XGS2100. Tried all possible option of speed speed-duplex with auto and manual to 1000mbps on far end. However it is still showing as down.

Hardware/fibre cable is okay.

If the port always remains down, it is likely a Layer 1 issue.

If this is a new setup and not in production, I suggest performing a loop test on both the switch end and the Sophos XGS2100 end to ensure the port is coming up.

After confirming that the port and hardware are operational, you can proceed with validating that the optics used are compatible with Ruckus switches and Sophos XGS2100.

Using third-party transceivers or making parameter changes to the transceivers may prevent the interface from coming up.
