We have been using ICX 72XXX series for years and have HUNDREDS of them deployed in about 80 customer sites around the USA.

Many of these use fiber gbic to IDF's with other ICX7250's. Never a problem.

We just had to change to ICX 8200's and NOT A SINGLE GBIC IS RECOGNIZED. This is in an ICX8200-C08PF and an ICX8200-24.

Is there a command to show gbics?

Sho mod doesn't do it. Show int doesn't. Show optical-monitor non-ruckus-optic-enable doesn't show anything.

So you can try the below commands :

show media
show media validation

show media eth x/x/x

I hope this information helps you

Please feel free to leave us a message if any concerns
