Hi,

I attempted to set a password on the switch by using the CLI connection on a Mac, but for some reason, I can't make the password update stick nor am I able to login when accessing the switch IP address on a web page. Any suggestions? Current firmware is 08.0.70bT211

Here is where I am at within Terminal:

"ICX7150-C12 Switch>

enable Enter Privileged mode

nslookup Nslookup Utility

ping Ping IP node

show Display system information

stop-traceroute Stop current TraceRoute

traceroute TraceRoute to IP Node

ICX7150-C12 Switch>enable

No password has been assigned yet...

ICX7150-C12 Switch#"

I solved the issue by following steps 1,3, and 4 of the linked site: https://luiscachog.io/configure-ruckus-switch/. Next topic, what guide may I follow to update the firmware on the switch?

Since you're currently on 8070b, you will have to perform a step upgrade. You can follow below document:
