100gb port on 7550 no connection

Hoping someone can shed some light on what I may doing wrong here.

I have a 7850 connected to a 7550

7850 port 1/2/1 <<<---------100GB fiber ------->>> 7550 1/2/2

Both sides are set to speed-duplex optic. It'[s the only setting the 7550 will take. Both SFPs are up from show media command but the ports refuse to come up. Thoughts on what may be the issue?

Can you confirm your code level and exact model/module used?

Is the link down at layer 1 in "show int eth x/y/z"?

Has the fiber run been confirmed good?

Have these optics been used elsewhere without issue?

Layer 1 stuff can be tough because most of the time it is just process of elimination.

Yes down in layer one. Have it in lab at the moment before I take it to the site, media cable is new. Tested with a second cable, also changed polarity. SFPs are new, never used before.

Solution:

removed port config on 1/2/1
ran command ICX7550-24F Router(config)# slot 2 uplink-100g
reloaded
