You need the layer 3 firmware to allow the layer 3 interface.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Example filename for routing firmware: SWR08030h.bin (the 'R' in the 3rd position indicates routing)</description>

      <description>I've got the same issue.&amp;nbsp; Using a legacy layer 3 switch GFS648POE.&amp;nbsp; configuration guide says it should be capable of layer 3 ip routing between vlans, but none of the layer three base level commands seem to work.&amp;nbsp; The unit was purchased surplus with 7.2.02g firmware on it.&amp;nbsp; What do I need to make it layer 3 aware?&lt;BR alt="" name="" rel="" target="" title="" type="" value="" /&gt;</description>
