Moving between Router & Switch Codes

Hi All, Can anyone tell me what would happen to my config if i upgraded a switch from router code to switch code? I have a switch stack at the moment running router code and id like to change to switch code. Im aware that some of the config isnt possible in switch code so was wondering what the best procedure to follow is?

Hello Robert,

All Layer 3 features will be removed from the configuration e.g. VE's, route only interfaces, routing protocols.

As well the management ip will be removed from the interface management (if configured). Recommendation will be to schedule a maintenance window, and have console access as you will lose connectivity to the device.

Actually, the beginners are needing these useful suggestions to move in between the Router and switch code as well. To overcome all these issues can take suggestions provided by Netgear EX6100 Setup that would be fruitful for them obviously.
