Hello,

I have two Ruckus ZoneDirector 1200 controllers configured in an active/passive setup. Yesterday, both ZoneDirectors became completely inaccessible via SSH, HTTPS, or console—no response at all. I attempted a factory reset using the F/D button without success, as well as a regular reset, also without success. I also tested both Ethernet ports.

What I find strange is that both ZDs failed at the same time. Have you ever encountered this issue? Any ideas?

You posted in the wrong forum area, so you're unlikely to get a reply here.

Luckily the ZD1200 had a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser so you can and should RMA them.

(From my extremely unofficial experience buying dead ZDs, the problem with the ZD1200 seems to be with the CPU. Assuming it's the LPC errata mentioned e.g. here, then it wouldn't be unusual for two ZD1200s bought at the same time and place & run for the same amount of time to fail together too).
