topic Blocking Samsung TVs but not phones in SmartZone and Virtual SmartZone

We are trying to set up some device blocking in the VSZ. The issue is we are wanting to block Samsung TVs but not tablets or phones. Is there a way that the APs can tell the difference between the two. We are wanting to sun a script to find all the Samsung TVs but we are not sure if they are phones or TVs. Is the VSZ capable of doing this. I know that there is a way to use a device policy but that did not block all the tvs. What about the TVs that have unknown for the OS.

Hi Jaydub,

Could you confirm if you have created the device policy rule as mentioned below:

If you have smart TV's that have the OS shown as unknown then you can try to change the OS vendor to all on the device policy and test.

Regards,

Simon Louis
