Change/Move Cluster VM Smartzone Essentials

Hi all Ruckus member,

We have done deployed 2 new vSZ-E on new VM and configured in separated cluster for each other. Currently, we had 2 old vSZ-E and configured in same cluster

We need to change the old vSZ-E to the new VM vSZ-E because of credentials admin problem on the old vSZ-E. My question is, how to configured our 2 new VM vSZ-E to join the cluster with 2 old vSZ-E then takeout the old vSZ-E from the cluster?

Hi @a_ridwan9

Are you connecting the new vSZ cluster to old vSZ cluster only because of the password?
Can you explain what credentials you are looking for so that we can help you to retrieve.

In any case, if you want to connect a node to cluster, then it has to be from the factory reset state where you get option to join to the existing cluster.

We are facing issue "Web: Login denied" when we want to get some information through CLI like this

vSZ-E-01# show license
% message.web.error:Login denied

vSZ-E-01# show cluster-node
% message.web.error:Login denied

So, we decide to build new VM vSZ-E, but the new VM vSZ-E currently was setup in different cluster name.

So if we want to joining the new VM vSZ-E to the existing cluster from old VM vSZ-E, we need to factory reset the new VM vSZ-E with command "setup" through CLI?
