Hello

Is it possible to control the access of applications on a specific access point on SmartZone controller?

For example, if we want to install an access point in the office, can we create a rule that allows users to access only WhatsApp application when they are connected to that access point?

Thank you

Hi Dawidku,

Yes, you can do that. Place the office access points in a separate AP group and create a dedicated WLAN with the necessary URL filtering rules for this group. Keep in mind that this setup might affect roaming between other APs and office APs since each group will have different WLAN, even with the same SSID name. As each AP group will have distinct firewall rules, you’ll achieve your goal of applying specific firewall rules.
