Please inquire about using hotspot mode and using external redirection for authentication. However, how can external authentication interact with AC to allow users to access the network?

Hello @cangqingse,

Client authentication in external portal redirection can be done in two methods.

1. The client posts it's user credentials directly to SZ and SZ validates the same with configured AAA server.

2. Another method is by using NBI interface, External portal initiates JSON call to SZ NBI interface to authenticate the client against configured AAA server.

How can clients directly publish their user credentials to SZ? Is there a case reference for this?

Clients can post the credentials directly to SZ on specific TCP port 9997/9998. Please refer below WIPSPr document for more info.
