    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It will depend on the WLAN configuration.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the WLAN is a standard PSK network or is WPA2-Enterprise using the AP for RADIUS proxy, then the network will be unaffected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are utilising tunnelling to the controller - of course this will be affected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have a Captive Portal WLAN, this will not function during a controller outage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are using DPSK this will also be affected by a controller outage.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is why SmartZone has clustering functionality, to provide resilience and redundancy in case of failure of the controller or the network element that connects it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
