vSZ/vSCG redirect from HTTPS to login page

I have vSZ. On it configured Hotspot (WISPr) for user authentication in my network. Redirect from HTTP to login page work fine. But redirect from HTTPS to login page doesn't always work. Example, redirect from https://github.com doesn't work. But redirect from https://google.com always successful. What are the causes of such work of redirect?

Check the DNS server the request sent to resolve github.com.

Do redirection works for http://github.com?

Are issues seen on other-than-Chrome browswers too?
There may be an issue with Chrome terminating HTTPS access and displaying an error instead of just SSL warning.
In one case, Samsung Chromebook may attempt to contact a setup server URL first, like Apple CNA.
