Hello Tayten,

There are many reasons you could see an Island SSID advertised, but only when they've
lost their controller or are running in Solo/Standalone mode. This is designed in to help get
into a stranded AP, expecially outdoor pole mounted APs for example, for recovery. Please
see the KBAs found if you search for 'island ssid' in our Knowledge Base Articles:
https://support.ruckuswireless.com/search?query=island+ssid&collection=&ref=

I would like to ask if we could disable the island SSID after the AP lost connect to SCG.
I tried to set recovery-ssid service-wlan disable, and found not work.
For standalone AP method, set wlan102 state down...also not work.
Any command could disable the island ssid even the Ap lost connect to SCg
