Thanks for the replies. I reverted the AP's to the previous firmware and started the upgrade again. This time it worked perfectly.

Thanks

Hello,

After a Ruckus One scheduled firmware update from 7.1.1.520.830 to 7.1.1.530.5193 all the APs in one of our venues show the Firmware update failed status. One is even stuck at the Applying firmware status. Power cycling the devices does not change the status. What is the best way to solve this issue?

The site seems to be working normally on the old firmware (7.1.1.520.830). As this is a remote site I have no physical acces to these devices. I want to prevent that the set goes down and I have to rush over there to fix it.

Best approach is to cancel/clear the failed upgrade in Ruckus One, then re-push the firmware to APs in small batches (or a single AP first). If any AP stays stuck on Applying firmware, open a Ruckus Support case they can often recover it remotely. Since the site is stable, avoid further bulk upgrades until support confirms it’s safe.
