How do we config a SAML authentication on Ruckus One with OKTA?

HI Ruckus.

Recently, many customers have been asking us about OKTA authentication in wireless-lan.

We noticed Ruckus One adds SAML suthentication method on Captive Portal wlan.

Hi Jeronimo,

Ruckus One supports Captive Portal Authentication with OKTA. Please find the below steps after selecting SAML Identity Provider (IdP) on WLAN:

Under the WLAN> Onboarding section- Click Add under Select Identity Provider via SAML.
Paste the Metadata URL from Okta.
Leave other fields as default and click Add.
Configure Walled Gardens and following entries:
*.okta.com
*.oktacdn.com
Add guest portal service.
Choose SAML Identity Provider (IdP) as the portal design.
Click Add, then Next.
Activate the WLAN in a venue.
In RUCKUS One, go to Network Control → Policies and Profiles → Identity Provider → SAML.
Find your IdP profile and download the SAML Metadata file.
Open the file and locate the Profile ID (under entityID).
Replace the original Tenant ID in Okta with this Profile ID.
Save the application configuration in Okta.
