topic AP location, better to use floor plans or GPS coordinates? in To Be Moved

We are a K12 district with all schools on a single 192 acre campus. We have 5 academic buildings, a district office, and bus/maintenance building. Altogether we have 401 R710 APs that cover this 750,000 square feet of indoor space. We use two Virtual Smartzone controllers updated to the newest firmware, 3.6

In order to locate APs I can either enter their GPS coordinates or import floor plan maps and place them on a map. We have a lot of APs and many are within 40 or 50 feet of each other, not sure with how much precision GPS coordinates can even be entered.

What is my best route forward? I want to put some type of location on all of my APs since the newest version of firmware had Rogue AP detection by location.
