Guys,
I have been going absolutely insane with this, and Ruckus support has not reached back to me in the last 2 days. I am trying to get Radius working with the V- SZD and 802.1x using users domain credentails on wireless. No matter what I do on the NPS I always get the message authentication failed. I have followed the basic guides and still nothing. I am trying to achieve Webportal authentication using RADIUS on the back end.

i dont confess to knowing a great deal about this as its something i am just looking into at present. However, do you have the AAA server configured as proxy or non proxy at present?

It's my DC and I was hopping to use the WLC as proxy. The server is not configured for that.

So when you configured the AAA server in SZ did you select proxy or non proxy. If proxy you must configure the WLC in NPS but if set as non proxy the AP becomes the authenticator and you need to configure all APs in NPS. Or at least that's how I understand it.

I have these settings selected.. I did configure it as Proxy and I have the WLC setup in NPS

Ok so now I am confused. What are you trying to achieve here? Are you wanting to do RADIUS web auth like captive portal? Or are you wanting to do 802.1X auth via NPS

Ok for captive portal you should configuring your AAA server and then WLAN type should be hotspot WISPr. There are plenty of guides on how to set up WISPr WLANs and in fact pretty sure there is a whole guide in the knowledge base for devs wanting to create there own
