    <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, I have a Lennar home and a connection issue started almost 6-7 months after we purchased.&amp;nbsp; The switch showed&amp;nbsp;the amber system light and the green power light.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, I have a ICX 7150 that has not been working, I have followed all console connection settings to hit a "failed ping" message...I was wondering what else could I possibly do, or what pictures/proof do I need to provide for a replacement device.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This community has helped me tremendously with all the possible troubleshooting steps, the techs are responsive and this forum is extremely valuable...however I have hit a brick wall.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;As per the case description, I could understand that your RUCKUS setup is not working, and Switch has Amber lights flashing after trying reset.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Basically, due to the power outage/power spike, the switch went to a state that we call ‘boot mode’ that is not able to boot up properly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Please follow the below steps to fix this issue:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;As you mentioned that you tried reset, once again we will try to reset the Switch as described below:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;1. Please try to disconnect from the Power outlet the ICX-7150 and reconnect.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;2. Please try to press the reset button using a paper click or a small stick&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Remove power from the switch.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Press and hold the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reset&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;button while applying power to the switch.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reset&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;button.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;If the reset does not make any difference,&lt;/STRONG&gt; we need to perform a software recovery since it can be that the image flash is corrupted in basic words the unit is not able to boot up properly and need re-install the image to boot up properly.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello again Imran,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, I performed the reset 17 times and on the 5th time the lights flashed like 2 seconds earlier than usual.&amp;nbsp; Other than that, the blinking amber continues.&amp;nbsp; So, I started the software update yet again and have hit a brick wall when it comes to ping testing the connectivity to my network IP.&amp;nbsp; The network IP is "not alive".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:white;color:#333333;font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This must be statically assigned to have connectivity to your switch, remember you have an Ethernet cable from your computer to the Management port in the switch, so we require to configure the computer with the same subnet.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Without configuring this IP address, Switch will not respond. (Please refer to the below screenshots for more information)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Imran again,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did the above steps with no luck, so I ended up just trying to skip the ping step, and inputting&amp;nbsp; the primary and secondary image .&amp;nbsp; Ofcourse it did not work lol.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So, I did more digging and tried the "tftpboot" as a command, but I kept getting an error about a bad kernel.&amp;nbsp; The switch would not boot from primary or secondary and couldn't get the kernel image... so I just set the primary and secondary to boot from the 8090k image on the tftp and I was able to boot finally...After that My lights were green.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I still never did get the "ping test" to work, so I inputted the "reset" command and tried to start from the bootloader, I tried pinging but still said "not alive"... I am still confused as to how I was able to boot from tftp with being able to connect... but the switch is working now with green sys lights, and I finally have power and ethernet going to my APs.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
