      <title>ICX7150 does not provide power to PoE Ports</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, I have a&amp;nbsp;ICX7150-C12P switch serial #FEK3852Q196 that all of the sudden does not seem provide power to any of the PoE ports, so the two access points we have connected to the PoE ports do not turn on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried power cycle and reset button a few times, but still same issue. The status lights on the switch seem to turn on correctly. However, the lights/indicators on the PoE ports and&amp;nbsp;access points never turn on.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please advise,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Arturo&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Hi, thanks for the quick response, yes, we are customer of Lennar Homes and purchased a new home with the Rockus smart home system. I don't recall having a power outage, but it is certainly a possibility. The first thing I tried was power cycle, but noticed the PoE lights do not come in the switch PoE ports and access points. I have tried all PoE ports, but so far no luck.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;The switch has two R320 access points connected, plus the internet cable coming from the service provider router,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Please advise,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Regards,&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;Arturo&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Imran, thank you for your response, please see answers to your questions:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. The unit was working before properly, with no issues. Problem started about 2-3 days ago, possibly after a power outage.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. The&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;ICX-7150-C12P is showing SYS light = Amber and PWR light = Green. See picture below.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3. We have two access points connected. All lights are off at both access points. &lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;As you mentioned and I can see from the screenshot you shared, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:white;color:#333333;font-size:16px;"&gt;there are lights on PWR and SYST, If there is an amber/orange light on the "SYST" and a green light on the "PWR" on the Switch (as it is in the below picture). Meaning the Switch is stuck in the boot mode.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Basically, due to the power outage/ power spike, the switch went to a state that we call ‘boot mode’ that is not able to boot up properly.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Please follow the below steps to fix this issue:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;First, we will try to reset the Switch as described below:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;1. Please try to disconnect from the Power outlet the ICX-7150 and reconnect.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;2. Please try to press the reset button using a paper click or a small stick&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Remove power from the switch.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Press and hold the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reset&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;button while applying power to the switch.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reset&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;button.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

The PuTTY session is just totally unresponsive. &lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;And please note, we do &lt;STRONG&gt;not use Telnet&lt;/STRONG&gt; to establish the connection, it is a Serial connection as shown in the below screenshot. Please make sure you are using the correct COM port from the device manager.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;As I can see from the picture, you have only used USB to type C cable. Also there must be a ethernet cable connected to the Switch management port and the Laptop/PC. (Please refer to the below screenshot)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:16px;"&gt;Please use &lt;STRONG&gt;ethernet cable (both ends RJ45 plugs) and USB to type C cable both together&lt;/STRONG&gt; as described in steps 2 &amp;amp; 3 in the guide link. Request you follow the same and perform the software recovery process once again. And please share the screenshots of the error (if any).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Imran, I was able to update the switch per your advice and I waa able to get it out of the Boot mode using the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;SPS08090k.bin firmware. The switch seems to be now working fine.
