How do I know if my switch is up to date?

Hello -

This post is related to my previous post: "SWITCH STILL WONT CONNECT AFTER SEVERAL BOOT SEQUENCE & RELOADING ATTEMPTS"

Can you confirm that I have upgraded my switch to the best and latest version possible?

I have followed all of your steps and want to make sure that I have upgraded the switch properly so that I can avoid future issues as the switch registers as a "router" vs a switch every few months and I hate it.

Can you also please confirm how and when I'm supposed to upgrade it? How am I supposed to know when a new version is out and when it's time to upgrade it?
