      <title>Software recovery steps</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've got to the port step before boot and recover software.&amp;nbsp; Unable to connect to port between switch and laptop.&amp;nbsp; Ive made sure the ethernet cable is plugged into slot 13 and plugged into the laptop.&amp;nbsp; When seach through the device manager for the com port number.&amp;nbsp; When I go to Putty and change the port to the com port number it wont connect.&amp;nbsp; Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;From the case description, I could understand that you are unable to connect the Switch port and laptop on Putty.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Could you please share a Picture of the connection you have set up to get the console access from the ICX-7150-C12P and your Laptop/PC?&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Please note, we need Two cables to connect which is an Ethernet cable &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;between your Computer to the ICX-7150-C12P Switch and a Type-C To the USB console port.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the response and the information you shared.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Based on the troubleshooting done, you confirmed that after trying to reset, booting up the &lt;STRONG&gt;Switch&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and trying the software recovery process, the failure persists and &lt;STRONG&gt;Switch&lt;/STRONG&gt; is not receiving any Power even after checking the power cable and other connections. This &lt;STRONG&gt;Switch&lt;/STRONG&gt; Should be RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) in simple words replacing it.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I disconnected all cables from the Ruckus leaving the only POE from AP to Ruckus then reset with pin from the AP as shown.&amp;nbsp; The Red light came on the flashed green then solid.&amp;nbsp; Went on Ruckus Unleashed app to configure new wifi through app.&amp;nbsp; Then plugged back in cables to the Ruckus.&amp;nbsp; At the AP only lights lite green are PWR and CTL.&amp;nbsp; It would be so much easier of a process if Ruckus made troubleshooting videos that are a little more user friendly.&amp;nbsp; Heck, even if you have someone we can call and do a step by step.&amp;nbsp; As you can tell between the time lines between messages this process can take a very long time if you have someone very busy with there life schedule.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
