Ruckus switch not showing on the Unleashed app

Hello,

I have a Lennar home and I noticed that on my Unleashed app my switch is not labeled in the switch icons of my app? Is there a reason for it? I believe that the person that configured it, configured my home incorrectly.

The ICX7150 Switch will be added by default as long is running the minimum software code 08090, however, if you can even see it as requesting to connect, please gain access via SSH, Telnet, or Console and check if it is running that version, if not an upgrade must be performed, let me add the steps and guides.

1:Find the IP address of the Switch, while you are connected to the Unleashed SSID/Wi-Fi ID, run the IP scanner to find the IP address of the Switch.

3:Now you are connected to the Switch, run the next commands, if ask you for credentials let me add default ones for Lennar home clients.

Usernames: Passwords:

admin sp-admin

super Lennar

lennar

ruckus

Ruckus!

Ruckus1

Commands:

enable

show version

Note: to enable is necessary to gain privileged access to the Switch, and the show version will provide detail about the current version running, as you can see in my example I am running the code SPR08090ndev.bin (UFI), however, you must start with SPS and the code, as you also I am running 08090, so I am compatible to join the Switch to the Unleashed app.

4: If you are running anything lower than 08090, you must perform an upgrade, I will recommend the code 08095g UFI which is the recommended code(must be the image starting with SPS)

Sorry for not replying earlier. The holidays got me a little busy. My current version is SPS 08095h.bin. With my previous request, I was referring that inside my unleashed application I have a total of 1 WAN, 2 AP's, and no switches. The no switches is what is bothering me because it doesnt show the switch that I owned.

Also, none of those passwords works. I was able to putty and it tells me that no password have been assigned yet. Can I also ask how do I clear an amber light from a port? What is the best configuration that you will recommend for best perfomance for this type of environment? Thanks in advance.

Please use the same password that you used to log in via putty if that does not work I will leave you a short guide :

In order see the ICX in the unleashed app is a bit tricky because you must generate a ssh tunnel so in simple words is like private tunnel between the access points and the ICX.

1-Make sure the Switch is on version 8090+ later ( you are done with this since you are running 8095g )

2-Make sure the management approval is enabled

3- It would be great if you enable LLDP/RSA protocol on the switch side here is the commands:

Device>enable
Device#config terminal
Device(config)#lldp run
Device(config)#crypto key generate rsa

Edit the current password and username

device(config)# username super password pass

Where the username is ’super’ and password ‘pass’

Unleashed dashboard

1-Hit Add on that dashboard

2-Put the IP address of the ICX switch

3-Username and password for Switch authentication that we created

To sync the data, it will take us a while, so after a couple of minutes it should say connected
