I am attempting factory reset after disconnecting 2nd AP in home that had previous owners. I hold reset for 2 seconds, red light appears, then blinking green and quickly returns to previous state without giving me configure me option. What might be going on?

Correction, I hold reset for 20 seconds. Of note there are a total of 2 APs in the home.

Based on the information provided, it appears that you are trying to factory reset your RUCKUS Access Points.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and are committed to assisting you promptly.

Please note that RUCKUS Access Points (APs) operate as a single, synchronized wireless system under the RUCKUS Unleashed management platform.

If you are planning to reset the APs, please disconnect all APs from the switch ports, leaving only one AP connected. Perform the reset on that AP first. Once the reset process is complete, this AP will become the Master AP.

After the Master AP is up and running, reconnect the remaining APs to the switch ports. They should automatically synchronize with the Master AP and form a unified wireless network throughout your home.
