To better assist you, could you please provide the following information:

1. Could you please confirm what RUCKUS device has this ringing (RUCKUS Switch or ceiling Access Points)?, and if there were any power outages before the issue began?
2. When your switch is connected to the outlet, do you observe any illuminated lights (amber or green)? Kindly describe which lights are visible. Additionally, please provide a photo showing the status of the lights and the full switch panel with cable connections to the switch ports.

3. How many access points are currently connected to the switch? Please describe the status of the lights on the access points. Similarly, include a photo showing the access points' light status.

Please log into your RUCKUS Account before uploading these photos/screenshots.

Please help me with above queries and should you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.

Thank you for your response.
1. No power outages occurred.

2. The big switch box and the living area access port have high frequency ringing. The noise is awful!

3. We have two access points on ceiling.

4. Some time there are no lights on access ports. You will see in photos from this morning there were no lights, but right now there is.
5. I have a photo of the high frequency being emitted from the r Ruckus systems.
6. The big box has Amber and green lights

7. I think my serial number is FEK3831R13H

Let me know you got all photos now. Yes the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P is emitting the high frequency ringing.

Thank you for your response and for sharing the image.

Based on the LED status, the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P switch appears to be operating normally.

However, I recommend performing a physical factory reset of the switch by following the steps outlined in the RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base self-help article below:

Additionally, from the image you shared, it appears that the yellow Ethernet cable from the ISP router may be connected to an incorrect port on the switch (please refer to the screenshot). It should be connected to one of the ports in the 1–12 range. Kindly reconnect the cable to the appropriate port.

We did all that you suggested and the high frequency ringing did not dissipate . Still there.

A high pitched frequency sound is not something my phone can record. It’s the reason we used the meter and I sent you the photos.

Apologies for any concern caused. In some cases, the sound you are hearing can be normal fan noise from the switch while it is operating. However, if the noise is unusually loud, please record a video capturing the sound and share it with us. This will help us investigate further and assist you more effectively.

My phone, an iPhone 16 does not have the ability to record HIGH FREQUEncy tobes. I do not think you are fully understanding the difference being emitted from this system. It is not an audible recordable noise but high frequency ring.
