&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Please note the important points before the Access Point factory reset. &lt;STRONG&gt;Perform the factory reset of the AP using a Laptop.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Only ONE Access Point should be connected to your switch during the reset.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Here’s what that means:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;If you have multiple RUCKUS APs (e.g., 3 units), unplug all but ONE that must be connected to the RUCKUS Switch.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Perform the reset on this ONE AP: It will become the Master Access Point.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Once the configuration is complete and confirmed to be working, you can plug the other APs back in. They will automatically sync settings from the Master AP.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Two are installed. I disconnected one though, to make it the master AP. Then after a few reboots without success, I switched to the other AP to see if that would work. I also unplugged the LAN wire to the router and did reboots as well as attempted it plugged in.</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Go to Maintenance → Return to Factory Default&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Click Factory Reset&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Wait 3–5 minutes until the AP reboots.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;After Reset, What Happens?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;The AP will start broadcasting Configure.me-XXXXXX&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;From there you can configure it normally through Unleashed setup page.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Try using &lt;STRONG&gt;the last 9 characters of the AP’s serial number (S/N), typed in uppercase&lt;/STRONG&gt;. If that doesn’t work, ensure you’ve held the reset button for at least 10 seconds until the power LED blinks, then try again.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;When prompted for a password, enter the&lt;STRONG&gt; last 9 characters &lt;/STRONG&gt;of the AP’s serial number in uppercase (e.g., if S/N ends with AB123456789, use 123456789).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;If the password still fails:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Double-check that you’re using the serial number from the sticker on the AP, &lt;STRONG&gt;not&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;the MAC address.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>Main ruckus has been reset, only 1 AP plugged in. That 1 AP was reset. Recover me pops up but not every time. When it did, I put in the AP serial number which had no letters. Each time, password is not correct.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One time a CX wifi name popped up but then went away.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The fact that this has required so much energy and effort, and with no resolution. And then to communicate through a forum where you have yo wait for responses. I feel like it’s 2002.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can someone just FaceTime me and walk me through this so they can see that I have followed all the steps, scrupulously and still don’t have it functioning</description>
