      <title>Cannot connect to configure me WiFi for R720 AP</title>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;My house was previously running on 3 ruckus R510 AP’s. I recently bought three R720 AP’s to work with my 2 gig internet. I have unplugged all the R510 AP’s and plugged in just one of the 720 AP’s to my switch along with my router to one of the 12 ports. I see the configure me WiFi pop up. I type in the device S/N for the password. It appears to be trying to connect to the WiFi but never does. The AP currently has the power light solid green and CTL light slow blinking green with no other lights. Can you please advise how I am able to get connected to the configure me WiFi so I can set up my master AP and connect the other two AP’s?</description>

      <description>Hi Pinky,&lt;BR /&gt;I have followed these instructions for setting up the R720 even thought this article references the R510. Is there a different way the R720 should be set up, or is it the same? The area I am getting stuck is after I factory reset the R720 AP, I connect to the configure me WiFi and type in the S/N of the AP as the WiFi password. My device keeps trying to connect to the WiFi but it just keeps showing the loading icon like it is trying to connect. I have tried doing this with all 3 of the R720’s I have (individually), but I am not able to fully connect to the configure me WiFi to complete the setup.</description>

      <description>I am not able to add pictures to my reply, however the switch has the STAT, SYST, PWR lights green along with the 2 ports that my router and AP are connected to. Our AP has a green PWR light with the CTL slow blinking green. I have confirmed the WiFi is working correctly from my router by connecting to it.</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Please unplug the&amp;nbsp;other AP, leaving only ONE connected to the Switch port, and perform a&amp;nbsp;factory reset on it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;I would request you to please refer to the below You tube video in performing factory reset of AP&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Yes, I have attempted the factory reset a few times with only one AP connected to the switch. I have tried the factory reset using each of the 3 AP’s each time only one of them being plugged in, and I have the same issue no matter which AP I am attempting to set up as the “master” AP</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;3. &amp;nbsp;Release the button &lt;STRONG&gt;only when all LEDs flash simultaneously&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>I did that, however there IS a password required to connect. From my research, it seems the WiFi password is the serial number. Once I enter the password, it shows it is attempting to connect, however my phone never connects to the WiFi and it continues to have the loading symbol next to the WiFi. I have tried other devices, and it does the same thing.</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Serial Number should be all in CAPITAL LETTERS if there are any alphabets.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Please &amp;nbsp;try using &lt;STRONG&gt;the last 9 characters of the AP’s serial number (S/N), typed in uppercase&lt;/STRONG&gt;. If that doesn’t work, ensure you’ve held the reset button for at least 10 seconds until the power LED blinks, then try again.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;When prompted for a password, enter the last 9 characters of the AP’s serial number in uppercase (e.g., if S/N ends with AB123456789, use 123456789).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;If the password still fails:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Double-check that you’re using the serial number from the sticker on the AP, &lt;STRONG&gt;not&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;the MAC address.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Make sure it is typed it in uppercase (case-sensitive).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>I have done this and the serial number works for the password, however none of my devices will fully connect to the WiFi. It continuously shows it is loading but never indicates that it is connected to the configure me WiFi.</description>

      <description>Pinky,&lt;BR /&gt;Yes I reset using method 1 on the attached link. The spot where I am having issues, is when the master AP is reset, and I try connect to the configure me WiFi (I have also tried Ethernet directly to the AP as well), is states connected, no internet. I am not able to access the unleashed website since I am not fully connect to the configure me internet for that AP.</description>
