      <title>Slow Internet Speed with the Ruckus Device</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have close to 1GB internet speed when connecting my laptop to the ATT modem directly and doing a speed test. Where as I am getting only 100Mbps speed using the ruckus access points.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have tried using the self help but was unable to connect to the putty device. When doing a SSH Im getting Network error: Connection timed out. Tried with Telnet and similar error, connection refused. Can someone please help with the same.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When I see 100 Mbps capped I check to see if there are port-speed or cable issues.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What is the port speed/connection type between Ruckus and the ATT device? Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps) or&amp;nbsp;Gigabit Ethernet (1 Gbps)?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Did you verify the cabling is ok from ATT to Ruckus? I would swap out ethernet patch cables to be sure.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Are you using 5 Ghz and if so what is your channel width in the wifi settings? 20 MHz, 40 MHz?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Are you sure you're not capping the wifi speeds in the SSID Rate limit settings?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Can you verify the client that you're testing with gets faster than 100 Mbps wifi from other WAPs?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#333333;font-size:18px;"&gt;Could you please use the same IP address to login to the web browser and confirm if you are able to access the Switch dashboard?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:black;font-size:18px;"&gt;You&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#333333;font-size:18px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;should observe the Switch Dashboard, which should be visible upon accessing the appropriate IP address, as illustrated in the screenshot below.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hey that's great, you're pretty much there now!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The main way to get faster speeds is to increase channel width on the AP and also have a client capable of using the whole channel width.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It sounds like you have a channel width of probably 80 Mhz.&amp;nbsp; If you want to try increasing it to&amp;nbsp;160 MHz and have a client capable of connecting, you may get another speed increase. However&amp;nbsp;160 MHz can create some problems if you have other people's wifi near you. Also it can create problems for legacy devices trying to connect.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;5 GHz Band: The R510 can achieve a maximum theoretical speed of 1.3 Gbps using 802.11ac with 2x2 MIMO.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;However, from the Wi-Fi Access Points, this maximum speed cannot be achieved due to some reasons:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Such as&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;-Ethernet cable quality used to connect the Access Points from the Switch&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;- It's also worth noting that many electronic devices and appliances, such as microwaves, baby monitors, security cameras, garage door openers, and phones, operate on the 2.4 GHz frequency, which can contribute to interference that reduces the speed.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;- Distance between the Access Points and device through which the&amp;nbsp;Internet is accessed. &amp;nbsp;Etc.,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
