      <title>AP only for expended Wi-Fi coverage</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I only wanted to use the APs in my home to widen my existing Wi-Fi net from my modem/router. My internet provider advised that having the ruckus network named as the same as my modem/router existing network is not compatible and causes issues. Is this correct?.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the Ruckus AP is also configured to broadcast the same wifi name (SSID) and the same password/PSK (assuming you are using regular password based encryption) as your ISP router, you can avoid having multiple wifi names (SSIDs) seen around your home. Also, with the same network name and password, devices should be able to connect to either the ISP router or the Ruckus AP based on the quality of signal received from them.&lt;BR /&gt;But if you want to know with certainty whether your device has connected to the ISP router or to the Ruckus AP, then it would be good idea to configure a different wifi name (SSID) on the Ruckus AP.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I understand that. And I already have a modem/router hooked up, and I know how to set up an access point. My question is can I or should I name the AP the same as my existing Wi-Fi network.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
