      <title>Unable to connect to Ruckus ICX-7150-c12p to complete software recovery</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My Ruckus ICX-7150-c12p is stuck in boot mode after a recent power outage.&amp;nbsp; I have tried power cycling the device and conducting a factory reset multiple times each as noted in this article:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/Fixing-RUCKUS-Switch-with-an-Amber-Orange-light-on-quot-SYST/ta-p/71998" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Lennar-Support-Knowledge/Fixing-RUCKUS-Switch-with-an-Amber-Orange-light-on-quot-SYST/ta-p/71998&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem I am now encountering is with trying to conduct the Software Recovery process.&amp;nbsp; Specifically, neither the Mac nor Windows laptop I have has an ethernet port.&amp;nbsp; In reading the article, my understanding is that I will need to connect to the unit with both a USB-C access and an ethernet to ethernet cable--the latter of which is unavailable to me.&amp;nbsp; How can I fix the unit without having to buy a new computer just for ethernet port access?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="background-color:white;color:#333333;font-size:18px;"&gt;From the case description, I understand that&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;the Switch is stuck in the boot mode.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#333333;font-size:18px;"&gt;As you mentioned that you have performed reset multiple times, the only option left is software recovery.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#333333;font-size:18px;"&gt;Also, you does not have a laptop with an ethernet port available.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="color:#333333;font-size:18px;"&gt;We would suggest you to please use a USB to RJ45 converter or C type to RJ 45 converter and can perform the steps mentioned in the Software Recovery.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
