I am facing slow speed issue from AR and switch wifi when direct access to router is faster.

From the case description, I understand that you are experiencing slow speed issues.

Also, you would like to know the recommended firmware version for both the ICX-7150 Switch and R510 APs.

The recommended version for the Switch ICX-7150 is 08.0.95g and that of R510 APs is 200.15.6.12.304.

Could you please let us know the answers to the below queries to assist you better?

1) Was there any power outage before you started facing the issue?

2) Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same, showing the light status and the FULL Switch panel cable connections to the Switch ports)

3) May I know how many Access Points are connected to the Switch? Could you please let me know the light status on the Access Points? Any of these lights are on (Please refer to the below picture and share a picture of the same)

Please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights and cable connections to the Switch ports. Also, light the status of Access Points.

Before uploading the photos please log in to the RUCKUS account and you can upload the image.

My Switch ICX-7150 has 08.0.95g version but AP's R510 are currently in 200.8.10.3.290.

1) Was there any power outage before you started facing the issue? No Outage

To proceed further, we would need to check few configurations of the switch.

To check this, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P

I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.

How to find the IP Address of the RUCKUS Devices (Switch and APs) using IP Scanner free applications:

Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”

If you can access the Command line should look like this:

From the response you shared, we suggest you upgrade your ALL RUCKUS Access Points to version 200.15.6.12.304 which is recently released.

Can this AP upgrade done through unleashed APP as I can not access dashboard on my computer, it never open?

Could you please also let me know why APP do not show switch?

Based on your description, it appears that you are experiencing difficulty logging into the RUCKUS Unleashed application and web browser.

Apologies, Unleashed system cannot be upgraded using the Mobile Application.

To assist you further, could you please provide us with the following details:
- Log in to your Unleashed system using a laptop web browser with the Master AP IP Address or visit https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/ Kindly check and share a screenshot of the current version of your Unleashed Access Points.
- Ensure that your device is connected to the RUCKUS Wi-Fi Network for access.

If you encounter difficulties accessing the above link or if you are unsure of the IP Address of your Access Points, please refer to our guide on finding the IP Address of the Access Point:

I have upgraded the AP version to recommended one but still speed is same. Now I am not even able to access unleashed app on my iphone.

Hello @saurabhk01 ,

Thank you for the response.

From the response you shared, I understand that you are unable to manage the Unleashed app on your Phone.

I would request you to please uninstall the Unleashed app and reinstall the latest version and try logging in with the login credentials.

Also, we suggest you to perform a factory reset on the access point and establish a new Wi-Fi network/SSID.

Note: If you have multiple Access Points (APs) in your home, please go to the Ruckus Switch, disconnect from its ports the Ethernet cables of all the Access Points, except the one that you are going to work with. Once the process is finished, connect back to the Ruckus Switch the access points that you disconnected before, and they will connect into the network automatically after a few minutes.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to factory reset the AP and create new Wi-Fi network.
