      <description>&lt;P&gt;I’m not able to use telenet option, not advanced to do that. None of the ID and passwords work to gain access to the IP address. The access point has been updated but the shuts down regularly I’m guessing from outdated firmware on the switch. I’m at a loss on what do. Not sure if it’s truly the switch the issue or access point.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;If you are unable to access RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch by CLI with Telnet and no username/password working, the only option left is to access Console CLI and reset username/password.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;To regain console access, please follow the instructions provided in the article linked below: &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/How-to-console-in-the-ICX-7150-12c-using-a-Windows-Machine/td-p/46759" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;How to Console into the ICX-7150-C12P&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;While you have the laptop connected to the Switch with a console USB cable and the CLI screen up it asking a username/password, reboot (unplug and plug from the power outlet), and follow the video below.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;Once you have successfully recovered the switch password, use the following commands to either modify the existing password or create a new username and password:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;font-size:24px;"&gt;enable&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;font-size:24px;"&gt;configure terminal&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;font-size:24px;"&gt;device(config)# username super password pass&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;In this example, the username is ‘&lt;STRONG&gt;super&lt;/STRONG&gt;’ and the password is ‘&lt;STRONG&gt;pass’ &lt;/STRONG&gt;(you could use of your choice)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-size:18px;"&gt;To ensure proper authentication, execute the following commands:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;font-size:24px;"&gt;device(config)# crypto key generate rsa&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;font-size:24px;"&gt;device(config)# aaa authentication login default local&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;font-size:24px;"&gt;device(config)# aaa authentication web-server default local&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
