      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem. The system status LED is steady amber which means it is stuck in boot. I have no POE at all to the APs.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the details, as you have the switch stuck in boot mode, you need to perform a software recovery, let me add the guide.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Ok, the manual set up of your computer IP address will be 192.168.0.2, in the Switch IP address will be192.168.0.3, for mask in both will be 255.255.255.0 and the gateway for both will be 192.168.0.1, now your computer and the switch will have two connection in between.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1: Serial connection Type C/USB cable, where the USB will be in your computer and the type C in the console port in your switch, in the image will be port numbered#1 to your Switch and in your computer USB port (this connection will be just for the Console access)&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;OK, Not having any luck. My ping fails.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have run both driver installs, CP210x_VCP_Windows&amp;nbsp;and&amp;nbsp;CP210x_Windows_Drivers.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My cables are USB-C, port #1 to USB on my computer and Ethernet to port #13.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I look at the Device Manager I see Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM4)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;That's all.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Yarenis,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was just retrying the entire procedure and still got the ping failed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BUT I decided to unplug the unit and plug it back in again and you can see below the Putty dump that I got from the unit. What does this all mean?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The lights are correct and it appears to be working. Understand that I don't have the APs plugged in at this time.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;If you come back to the boot mode state (CX7150-Boot&amp;gt;) and the ping keeps failing you will not be able to perform the software recovery, this is why I have approved the RMA, however, you can try the factory reset let me add the steps, and if it comes back, out of the boot state, please upgrade to the recommended code 08095g, I will add the guides too.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You already have access, remember that you are connected through the console, so you already have access to the CLI (command line interface) of the Switch, it looks like you are going to perform the upgrade via USB, so it will be a matter of following the guide, insert the new code into the USB, and connect it to the USB port on the Switch, finally run the commands to upgrade.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yarenis, after doing the factory reset the lights began flashing amber and 2 hours later that is still happneing. Is this how long it should take for the reset?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Not, that just means the Switch still stuck in boot mode, I have approved you the RMA, this&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;unit must be RMA (return merchandise authorization) means replace it.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Still switch is not working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The system &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SYST&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;LED is steady amber and &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;PWR&lt;/STRONG&gt; &lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;is green.
