      <title>My Switch rebooted after power outage and will not resend power to my AP’s</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a ruckus switch ICX 7150-C12P. The power went out and rebooted it. I am now left with the switch having a lit up amber light on syst and a green on power. I have tried repowering the modem and the switch itself. I have also reseated all cat 5 cables to and from the switch and the AP’s. The AP’s currently have no power since the switch is POE. Does anyone have a solution to get the switch to resend out internet signal to the AP’s? Thanks a ton!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;According to your description it seems that the Switch ICX7150 is stuck in boot mode, this requires to perform a software recovery and the only option to access the Switch will be through console, let me add the two guides that will help you to solve the problem, I advise you to read both guides first, and make sure you have the 2 applications and cables needed to perform the software recovery process either with a window or MAC computer.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;3:After the problem is fixed and the switch starts up again as expected, you can check with the following commands that PoE is enabled for the switch to provide power to your PoE devices&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;"show version": Will display the current firmware and partition booting.(May look like this SPS08090k,SPS08080F what you need to worry is that always start with SPS)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;"Show poe": Verify the ports using PoE, consumption and current budget.(what you need to check is that the&amp;nbsp;Admin State is ON for all the ports from 1/1/1 to 1/1/12, as you see in my example the port 1/1/2 and 1/1/3 are on but also are on in the Oper state, because are in use&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, yes in most cases software recovery is the only option, it doesn't really mean that you need to re-upgrade the switch, you can even insert the same code that is already running, however you can try to run a factory reset, sometimes the switch response to this option, and it will start without performing software recovery, let me add the steps to perform the factory reset.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;If you check the all guide, it came with both options to access via console with a MAC and windows, ones you gain access you need to follow up the same steps of the guide to fix the routing code issue (the commands does no change from MAC or Windows's computer), now if your computer does not have a USB port there are adapters, or you can hire a tech that can fix it for you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;The MAC computer does not require the Putty or Mobaxter APP, because you can gain access via console directly from the Terminal application, the guide that we have shared about the console access have a field for MAC users, let add the guide back.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;When you run the command and the nothing is appearing, it's because is not detecting the USB cable, normally when you run the command will appear every external device you have connected to the MAC for example a mouse or keyboard, let me add another commands for MAC, hope at this point you have downloaded the drivers for USB connection with MAC if not will be one of the reason is not detecting the connection with USB type C cable.&lt;/P&gt;
